Compared to a shad tail, the smooth movement and wave action produced by the grub tail powerfully stimulate Flathead’s feeding instincts visually. Moreover, even during the signature drag retrieve of the Jango style, it teases in a slower, more tenacious manner that appeals effectively to low-active Flathead. With the “Jumgo Shad,” which lures over a wide area, contrasted by the “Jumgo Grub” that prompts bites at a pinpoint level, the complete Flathead encirclement strategy is achieved.
