Bay RUF MANIC 95 Product Description A one-of-a-kind mesmerizing micro-vibration roll!

MANIC is designed under an entirely new concept. Although its appearance might lead one to assume it’s meant exclusively for amphipod baits, its simplicity makes it perfectly versatile regardless of the bait used. Its one-of-a-kind action, “Manic Move,” generates subtle undulations that stimulate the lateral lines of Seabass - yielding overwhelming strikes not only even against the notoriously finicky amphipod baits pattern but also under the high angler pressure and tough conditions. The first 95 mm model is optimally configured for bay-area fishing, performing exceptionally well in a wide range of scenarios from shore fishing to boat fishing.

Bay RUF MANIC 95 Product Description TECHNICAL DETAILS

The MANIC Move isn’t just defined by its refined body shape—it’s the result of perfectly calibrating numerous elements such as a narrowly tuned specific gravity range, precise buoyancy, and optimal weight positioning. Under this fine balance, its action is exclusively a tight roll, rather than the S-shaped curves or tail-wobbling motions that water resistance would normally generate.

Its micro-vibration action causes the body to roll in minuscule, trembling oscillations so subtle that it may appear almost motionless at first glance. Yet even during a dead-slow retrieve, these fine motions reliably etch distinct ripples into the water. Once you begin retrieving, the action springs into life; the lure quickly ascends just beneath the water’s surface, producing an exquisite trailing wave. The micro-vibration roll, acting within the V-shaped ripples, creates its own gentle, unique undulation that further amplifies its appeal.

For long-cast performance, the body is engineered with an ultra-low resistance design by shifting the hook eye on the tail inward and sharpening the tip. This configuration delivers astonishing casting capabilities that defy its unassuming appearance. Moreover, with rod work techniques such as twitching or jerking, you can trigger irregular actions that make the lure mimic prey desperately darting across the water’s surface—opening up a wide range of effective fishing approaches.
